Tom Zold

I met Tom about a year ago, when we played our first round of golf together.

I didn't know him then - the Pro shop paired us up.

Since then we've played hundreds of rounds, and drank a few hundred rounds too.

Tom is a really good friend, and a great guy. I know this from our many rounds of golf together.

Golf is the sort of thing that can bring out the worst in people. The worst of Tom Zold is better than the best of a whole lot of other people. And he's an excellent golfer. You should see him line up and hit a putt. It's pure poetry.

He asked me to do a portrait (after seeing some of my work) and I dove into it. This is the result. I have my own methods and techniques. Nobody I see on YouTube or anywhere else does it like I do, nor do they recommend you even try. Kind of makes me a little proud!
