This was at Lisa and Adam's wedding, at Lake Tahoe, in 2004. The photo from which this painting is based, was so nice, it was on my Mother in Law Lillian's end table for many years after.

This was done on a piece of linen panel. I love the texture of the surface here. This was on my TO PAINT list for a long time. I'm happy I finally did it and how it turned out.

From Lake Tahoe, we drove across the western states in a rented car, through Death Valley and Zion, Bryce, and incredible landscapes. It gave me a taste of the Southwest Desert. I must have loved it because it is where we eventually retired.
